Trapped in a Box? If you are hesitating, stuck in a place that may guarantee security but offers nothing else. Remember these things:
1. “Life is not linear. The past does not determine the future.” What you’ve always done isn’t what you have to do.
2. “Money is no guarantee of happiness. There is no direct relationship between wealth and well being. It comes from being fulfilled, having a sense of purpose and feeling authentic.”
3. “The greatest obstacle to finding your purpose lies within you.” You may fear others opinions. Or be afraid you may fail and look foolish. Finding your purpose will take courage, but you have that within you too.
(From a Forbes interview with Sir Ken Robinson, internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity innovation and human resources in education and business. He gave popular TED talks 2006; 2010.)
